Autorenporträt
Meet Lynn Kilbride, sacred artist. For the last twelve years, Lynn Kilbride has inspired thousands of people with her breathtaking sacred artwork and her infectious spirituality. Carrying the unusual dual degrees of a Bachelor in Fine Art and a Masters in Business, Lynn Kilbride has achieved what few others have: the ability to both create soul-charged original artwork, and to envision and successfully grow a thriving national ministry. Her early years were spent traveling the upper Midwest, hosting intimate church gatherings with her unique combination of teaching, preaching, and original art. Audiences left inspired, moved and with a new definition of what sacred art looks like in the twenty-first century. Because of her unique approach to ministry, within six years she found herself hosting tens of thousands of people in national conferences across the country. At her local fine art center, she translated her process into a unique sacred art curriculum where she took people from art hobbyists to sacred artists within a six-week period. Her sacred art groups garnered media attention at events called "GraceMobs", where they would take over public places and invite local people to participate in spontaneous art-making. Her abundant creativity, caring heart and ability to inspire anyone to become a sacred artist led her to encapsulate her experience into the book "Creating Sacred Art". In it, she offers easy to follow projects, punctuated with deeply reflective mini-retreats, and the invitation to plug in to a larger sacred art community. Her goal is to train sacred artists around the world to form global communities in which they share, inspire and effect positive culture-change.
