Don Dinkmeyer Jr., PhD is a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and co-author of the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) programs. He is a retired professor of counseling and student affairs at Western Kentucky University and has contributed to the professional literature for more than 35 years. Jon Carlson, PsyD, EdD is a Distinguished Professor at Governors State University and psychologist at the Wellness Clinic in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Dr. Carlson has authored 60 books, 175 articles and produced over 300 professional training videos. He has worked as a school counselor/psychologist for 35 years. Rebecca E. Michel, PhD is an assistant professor at Governors State University. Prior to obtaining her doctorate in counselor education and supervision, she worked as a professional counselor in K-12 school and community settings.
