Moreover, the book proposes a constitutionally oriented reading of corporate sustainability from a legal standpoint. It also includes the perspective of financial companies, exploring the role of administrative controls in fostering banks' commitment to sustainability. The study focuses also on an organizational perspective by exploring how human resource management can support ESG strategies. Finally, the research underlines the corporate model "Società Benefit" to examine its effect on default risk.
Autorenporträt
Francesca Bernini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Pisa (Italy). She teaches Business economics, Performance valuation, and Valuation and control of strategies. Her primary research interests include Accounting, Business valuation, Business ethics, and Sustainability. She is the author of several international publications and she is involved in various study groups of SIDREA, contributing to numerous research projects and publications. She has served as an institutional referee for the Italian Valuation Principles (OIV) and participated in the multidisciplinary group on 'Valuation Standards in Corporate Crises' (CNDCEC - SIDREA). She has engaged in the activities of various research groups. Professor Bernini coordinates the University of Pisa research project 'Value Creation and ESG Strategies: A Multidisciplinary Approach' and is involved in the PNRR partnership 'Future Artificial Intelligence Research - Human-centered AI'.
