Zakât, the legal alms of Muslims, is one of the five pillars of Islam. Verse 60 of Sura Tawbah sets out 8 categories of beneficiaries for whom Zakât may be paid. These include the poor, the needy, Zakat collectors, people sympathetic to Islam, slaves, the insolvent, travelers in distress, and the path of Allah.The title "Creation of an International Zakât Fund: Necessities and feasibility of an internationalization of Zakât law" is an analysis of a project dating back to 2008, which never came to fruition.This book was written to encourage the creation of an International Zakât Fund. The aim is to study the shortcomings of this project and propose effective solutions. The aim is to collect Zakât internationally to help eradicate poverty.
