Autorenporträt
Doris Stevanovic was born in Zagreb in 1959. She attended a university in Pula and majored in philosophy. She dedicated herself to studying preschool education and was the Educator and Director of the former kindergarten ¿Doris¿s Flowers in Pula. She also founded a kindergarten in Sijani. She presented and published a programme titled Doris¿s Flowers at a press conference in Pula in 2003. She was the first headmistress of the kindergarten and authored and presented a paper titled ¿Encyclopedia of chldren¿s five-minute activities. She adopted an experimental programme titled ¿Lifelong Learning of preschool children.¿ She was awarded numerous diplomas for ¿Selfless Educational and Humanitarian Contributions¿ for her work at Doris¿s Flowers and collaborated on numerous projects and published many research studies about preschool education; together with other researchers on pedagogy and participated in various scientific conferences.
