The picture of native life in the Indian Territory in the late 1800s and early 1900s of the inhabitants of the Creek Nation through pho-tographs and interviews that were conducted in the late 1930s under the supervision of the Work Projects Administration (WPA) is known as the Indian-Pioneer Papers.
