Rhea-Frances Tetley has been writing historical columns and articles about her home city of Crestline for many years. She has been past president and a board member of both the Crest Forest and Rim of the World Historical Societies. Douglas W. Motley, the author's husband, is also senior writer for the Alpenhorn News.
