But in Northern Nigeria, it is a different kettle of fish as far as education for the girl -education is concern. The education for the girl-child became an esotericism for Patriarchalism, cultural practices, social taboos, superstitious believes, early marriages and/or teenage pregnancy, as well as the use of the girl-child as a tool for suicide bombing by the Boko Haram- terrorist group in the Northern Nigeria are some of the factors that deprive the girl-child from the essential life indicators and constitute major barriers to the education opportunities of the girl-children. The cumulative effects of these child rights violations, exploitative and unjust treatments have had profound negative impacts on education opportunities available to the Female Gender in the Northern Nigeria.
