No matter who rules, crimson reigns. Ivan's story continues in the action-packed sequel to The Fractured Prism. It's been ten days since the night that shattered Ivan's hopes of ending the Prism-ten days rotting in jail. With his rebel identity exposed, he must now pay for his sins as Julia mourns the death of her father. Outside the palace walls, the situation in St. Paul is dire. The People's Front is more determined than ever to exterminate any pockets of resistance, and with the Militia in shambles after the safe house raids, thousands of Reds have been hauled off to die in the People's Fronts work camps. But resentment burns beneath the ashes. A new, brutal force has risen, one that threatens to destroy everything Ivan has fought to protect. With a void at the heart of the monarchy and their allies scattered, can Ivan and Julia find a way to pick up the pieces and save Northern Mississippi, or will they watch as chaos consumes what little hope they have left? The Prism Files continue with book 3: Pridefall.
