"How do you want to die?" questioned Patrick, standing six feet behind Jack. "Burned to a crisp, fried, or just, blasted into oblivion? Patrick suddenly, let go, a small charge of lightning, from his fingertips, to prove his point. "Can't we talk it over?" asked Jack, as he dropped the knife. Patrick thought for a second, then, said "You're toast," and let go a charge of electricity, that slammed into Jack's chest, dazing him. Patrick glanced up at Rose, and stated, "Come on, Lassie, it's time, we left this dump."

Autorenporträt
Gary Brideau was born in a small house in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1947 and moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut as a small boy. He met Lauren, the love of his life, in 1985 and were married years later and moved to Bristol, Connecticut. One night, he had a vivid dream that caught his attention and spurred him to write it down, and send it to his sister T. Jene Brideau, for an interpretation who also is a writer. She wrote and told him that the story was good. Gary took her encouragement and his imagination went to work. That's when he discovered his God-given talent to write great space adventure stories. From then on, he has written over fifty stories of which only seven of them have been published with great reviews.
