Mobile cloud computing enables accessing application located into the cloud from mobile devices. The adoption of mobile cloud computing will enable healthcare practitioners to get access of data at any place and any time. Moreover, the use of mobile devices by healthcare professionals will allow to access electronic medical records from any location increasing reliability and consistency. This research study develops a guideline of moving healthcare applications to the cloud.The research methods consisted of relevant literature of moving applications from on-site to the cloud platform, and collected data from the survey. The survey was conducted by sending online questionnaire to experts of cloud computing and interview was conducted with two experts. Summary of the findings helped the author to produce the final guideline of moving healthcare applications to the cloud as well.
