An endeavor is made to divulge the problems and challenges associated with the modern definition of criminal intent. Thus the study used different methods of in the data collection. The methods included face to face interviews with lecturers and other legal experts to get their experience, knowledge and overview of modern criminal intent.The data were analyzed to get information on how best to achieve a unanimous definition of criminal intent. Thus included relevant decided cases, books, scholarly works, reports and other vitally important materials.The study found that a unanimous definition of criminal intent is achievable.
