Autorenporträt
Susana Martínez Guillem is Associate Professor in the Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of New Mexico, USA. She draws on discourse studies and cultural studies to study the ideological dimensions of institutional, mediated, and everyday practices in relation to immigration, place, space, social movements, (anti)racism, multilingualism, and their connection to material conditions. Christopher M. Toula is Assistant Professor in the Department of Mass Communication at Sam Houston State University, USA. He uses rhetorical and discourse analytic methods to study international communication, especially state-based public diplomacy and strategic narratives concerning economics. He also studies and teaches communication law and intellectual property.
