Salih Al-Hussein has Ph.D. in contemporary American poetry, the University of Baghdad. A visiting scholar at Michigan State University 2013. He is the author of a critical study on contemporary Arab-American poetry and has published several articles on minority literature. He is currently a lecturer at the College of Arts,University of Mosul, Iraq
