JUANA SUÁREZ is an Adjunct Faculty Member at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Department of Cinema Studies, and a candidate to the Master of Arts in Moving Image and Archive Preservation (2013). She is the author of Sitios de Contienda: Producción Cultural Colombiana y el Discurso de la Violencia (2010) and Cinembargo Colombia: Ensayos Críticos sobre Cine y Cultura (2009). LAURA CHESAK is Associate Professor of Romance Languages (Spanish) and Interim Associate Dean at The Graduate School of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, USA.
