This book, Feminisms and Critical Sociology, has a double plane, analytical and theoretical. On the one hand, it analyzes the characteristics of the new feminist wave in Spain, its causes, the sociopolitical and cultural context and its transformative impact. On the other hand, it explains the different theoretical approaches, in particular, the debates on the meaning of feminist identities and their relationship with the formation of the feminist subject. The two aspects are intertwined in its six chapters, from a critical, relational and socio-historical approach and an egalitarian perspective.
