Autorenporträt
Damian Alan Pargas (PhD 2009, Leiden University) is an associate professor of history at Leiden University. He is the author of two books and numerous articles on slave life in North America, and is the founder and chief editor of the Journal of Global Slavery. Felicia Roşu (PhD 2009, Georgetown University) is an associate professor of history at Leiden University. Her research and publications examine the interplay of freedom and unfreedom in early modern east-central Europe and the frontier zones between Europe and the Ottoman empire.
