In summary, the top five identified CSFs (in order of decreasing importance) are: (1) Alliance Leadership, (2) Membership, (3) Financial Operations, (4) Collaboration and Communication, and (5) Staff Expertise. The survey results provide an increased objectivity to healthcare organizations currently in or planning to develop regional health alliances. These results are beneficial in building the necessary infrastructure to facilitate regional health alliances.
