My purpose in compiling this pictorial album is to put together images of this multifaceted disease, based on the research and management of patients, who I have seen over nearly forty years. This book contains a series of short chapters covering the different locations of the disease from the mouth to the anus, the obstructive and fistulising behaviors, perianal and systemic manifestations, malignancy, recurrence and differential diagnosis. The book is suitable for medical students, general practitioners, specialists, nurses and patients. Professor Claudio Fiocchi(Cleveland, USA) mentions: "As a proof of the old saying that "a picture is worth a thousand words", this book provides a cornucopia of images that only few people can display from the archives of personal knowledge. Radiological, computerized tomographic, endoscopic, histological, and live patient pictures show all there is to know and "see" about Crohn's disease, in a concise, sequential and logical series of presentations, and viewers at all levels of the medical professional can enjoy and benefit from them.
