Hence, the study of habitat and biology of particular species is important for amalgamation of IPM concept. The concept of integrated pest management (IPM) can be utilized to encounter the pesticides related problems, which are based on ecological principles and will be compatible with a sustainable and environmentally benign agricultural system. Hence, biology and habitat of particular insect should be known for sustainable pest management.

Mr. Sundar Tiwari is an Assistant Professor of Entomology in the Tribhubhan University, Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS) in Rampur Campus. He did his master degree with distinction academic record from IAAS, Rampur. He has a research interest on Bee taxonomy, Integrated Pest Management and Crop pollinators.
