The per hectare cost of cultivation worked out lo Rs.35461.38 in Rice - Groundnut cropping system followed by Rice-Rice (Rs.27792.88) and Rice - Fallow cropping system (Rs. 23617.48). The per hectare total returns received from Rice Groundnut system was Rs.35072.68 followed by Rice - Rice (Rs 23266.54) and Rice - Fallow cropping system (Rs.13971.00) respectively. The functional analysis showed that on all the farms most of the available resources were found to use in excess quantity.
