I was born in London in 1938. In 1962, I qualified as a solicitor of the supreme court and practiced law in London until 1976, when I immigrated with my family to the United States. Admitted to the State Bar of California in 1979, I practiced law in Los Angeles and Woodland Hills until my retirement in 2007. Since then, I have devoted my time to writing. I live with my wife, Sherry, in Westlake Village, California.
