This study focused on two women s golf teams associated with NCAA Division III colleges. The women that participated in the study had handicaps ranging from six to twenty respectively before engaging in the program. The teams in the study consist of two of the top three programs in a Midwest NCAA Division III conference. All of the participants were given a pre-test questionnaire at the beginning of the study. This study was done to investigate if Auditory Literature, written by Dr. Bob Rotella addressing mental toughness, affects a Division III Women s Golf Team s mental toughness. Dr. Rotella is one of the world s most successful sport psychologists. Four sources guided this study; Golf is not a Game of Perfect, Golf is a Game of Confidence, Putting out of Your Mind, and The Golf of Your Dreams. The effectiveness of the audio literature treatment on a Division III Women s Golf Team was determined through data from the Test of Performance Strategies Questionnaire (TOPS) via a pre and post test comparison of a control group of Division III golfer s with similar playing abilities and an experimental group.
