Rita is a retired special education teacher .She is a dedicated and versatile child advocate with 40 years experience adapting and modifying high school curriculum to teach Social Studies, Language Arts and Studio Art to students with behavioral and intellectual disabilities. She is skilled in addressing student management and emotional needs to enable them to achieve success in school and the community. This is her first children's book which she wrote and illustrated.
