The story is told from the points of view of three fifth-grade classmates - Mary, Simon, and Alec. A triple-bildungsroman, if you will, chocked with colorful characters and infused with religious themes the way a candy bar is chocked and infused with nougat and raisins and other god-forsaken adulterants.

Back at the turn of the century, Matthew Dujnic made a name for himself in digital filmmaking, webcomics, and y2k-era dot.com nonsense. He published several short films, web media projects and comic strip collections before retreating mysteriously from the public eye to take up commutes and fatherhood. He has returned with Crucifixion Tag, his first novel. Matthew Dujnic lives with his family in New Jersey.
