Autorenporträt
Kathy Bradshaw dedicates her story to veterans and their families; she wrote in memory of her mother and father. After serving in the navy during WWII, her father joined the Air Force. While stationed in Savannah, he met her mother at a gas station. Later, he began working at the Veteran's hospital in Salisbury. Kathy spent her childhood with her sisters, brother, and pets in the historic town of Salisbury, North Carolina. She graduated from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee with a bachelor's in home economics, a certificate in early childhood education, and a master's in education. She returned to Rowan County in North Carolina to serve the community as a WIC nutritionist. Now retired, Kathy has turned her attention to writing Rusty's Comics.
