The author has convinced members of the 1% to provide details for a tell-all exposé. From their own words we read exactly how these members think; how they rule; and how they crush all opposition. A member of this ruling 1% reveals explicitly how he and his associates succeed in enriching themselves at the expense of others. He relates that the focus is on one goal: grabbing as much wealth as possible from the nations and populations of the world. There is no concern about the harmful consequences of these efforts on innocent citizens, domestic or foreign. They thrive in either democracies or dictatorships. Governmental institutions are used to suppress those who dare to challenge their authority. Allies in the news media and the political arena are complicit while helping to shield secret, nefarious shenanigans from scrutiny. Anyone in the way is considered expendable. That is why methods are devised to suppress all opposition. Whistleblowers are especially vulnerable, but no one is safe. And, of course, this would include the author and any reader of this book!
