Stephen Tarsitano is a high school English teacher, tutor, and supervisor who specializes in helping students and teachers develop a positive self-image and realize their true potential. He graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor's Degree in English and received his Masters of Educational Leadership from TCNJ. He later earned his administrative certifications from Caldwell College. Stephen started his teaching career with Kaplan Test Prep, eventually transitioning to public education at Pompton Lakes High School. At PLHS he teaches AP Literature and Composition and SAT Prep and serves as the Supervisor of English and World Languages. Outside of school, Stephen is the co-founder of Zen Test Prep, a tutoring company devoted to expanding students' minds and fostering a love of learning within them. He is also a musician, writing original music for an indie rock band, and a Kundalini yoga teacher, leading yoga and meditation workshops. Stephen continually seeks to infuse his teaching with the mindfulness training he practices while also cultivating within his students an approach to life that will help them achieve both happiness and success. He currently resides in Northern, New Jersey. Paul Koontz is a high school math teacher and football coach who specializes in motivating and helping students achieve their goals. Having studied the habits and practices of successful people in all fields, he has applied this knowledge to help kids of all ages and ability levels find success. From winning state championships to gaining acceptance to top universities, students reap many rewards from Paul's guidance. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, Paul holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Education. At Pompton Lakes High School, he has taught all topics in math, ranging from Algebra I and Basic Skills Prep to Honors Calculus. As a high school football coach, Paul has been the leader of one of the best defensive units in North Jersey for the past eight years. Outside of school, Paul is the co-founder of Zen Test Prep, a tutoring company that works with students of all ages, from elementary school to college. A resident of Madison NJ, Paul is married to Katie and they have two small children together, Riley and Bryce. While not helping others chase their dreams, Paul likes to chase a small white ball on the golf course.
