MIKE PALECEK is an American writer, former small-town newspaper reporter in Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota. He co- hosts The New American Dream Radio Show with Chuck Gregory, Thursdays on The Revolution Radio Network. He is a former federal prisoner for peace, also Democratic Party candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, Iowa 5th Dis- trict, 2000, gaining 65,000 votes in a conservative district on an anti-war platform and without support of the Democratic Party. He has worked in group homes for many years and lives in northern Minnesota with his wife, Ruth.
