The loss of a painting that is not delivered to the gallery that is about to be inaugurated in the city of Medellin, serves as a pretext for the person in charge of receiving the work to become involved in the triad of characters that make up the life of a frustrated painter. Having disintegrated his entire personal history among the characters of his pictorial work, one day he feels empty and is forced to enlist the services of a detective to help him recover his life; his creative force. The readings with which he fed his work, the trips, the game of chess, soccer, the night city that emerges and he fears, serve as background for the characters, who hope to find the painting and try to save their lives and that of the painter. Trazos de cristal is a novel destined to all readers who love art in general, to followers of detective novels, to those who consider that searching in books for paths that life has hidden from them is getting closer to self-knowledge. The delight of a chess game, the lines that form the figures that are always on constant alert, make up the nebulous atmosphere where personal history seems alien.
