On May 19, 2009, CBS renewed the show for an eighth season, which premiered in the United States on September 21, 2009 at 10:00 pm ET. RTÉ Two in Ireland will broadcast Season 8 in the autumn and Channel 5 in the UK will broadcast Season 8 from June 2010.
