Autorenporträt
Ricardo Carrillo, PhD is a licensed psychologist, and student of Laurencio Lopez Nunez and Dona Enriqueta Contreras and traditional medicine and trauma treatment. He and Concha were program developers for Cultura y Bienestar, a preventative and early intervention program for Latinos that is based in Alameda, California. He a father of two, grandfather of six and husband of one.Concepcion "Concha" Saucedo Martinez, PhD is a Mexicana-Yaqui-Chicana, born and raised in traditional indigenous ways. With her doctorate in Psychology, with and emphasis in clinical, social and cultural methose she integrate traditional healing with western health practices. She is a grandmother of seven Executive Director Emiritus and co founder of Instituto Familiar de la Raza, Inc, and a community activist for 47 years. In the past few years, she ahs focused her work on brining these traditional and spiritual practices to young people.
