Cultural devastation is witnessed in various fragmentations. This chapter analyses these fragmentations on the basis of the colonizers' entry and its aftermaths affecting the culture step by step. The devastation caused is discussed on the basis of (i) an Identical crisis, (ii)Disintegration of structure, and (iii) the Distortion of customs, rituals, etc. According to Okot, a famous Uganda poet, the educational system imposed on the colonized people was the root cause of the cultural conflict.
