The study at hand is initiated with the aim to reveal the potential heritage wealth in different forms and from diverse subjects and languages that has enriched the oriental libraries of Srinagar. Study can prove valuable to literary, religious and scientific scholars and can be used as a base for the Ministry of Culture to take proper management steps in preserving the culture and heritage sustained in these libraries.
