D.G. Geis is winner of the 2017 Houghton Prize. He is the author of two previous collections, Fire Sale (Tupleo Press/Leapfolio) and Mockumentary (Main Street Rag). When not writing poetry, he is likely racing down dirt roads on his mini-bike. He lives off the grid on a small ranch in the Hill Country of Central Texas, far, far, from the madding crowd.
