The families of the students of the Institución Educativa Técnica de Promoción Social del Carmen de Bolívar were victims of the scourge of the armed conflict that afflicted the sub-region of Montes de María located in the department of Bolívar in the north of Colombia, however, the population is immersed in a post-conflict process, the students come from dysfunctional homes due to the internal armed conflict that hit the country. Given this situation, school coexistence has been affected by outbreaks of violence among students, thus affecting their learning and teaching processes, which has decreased their performance in the classroom and increased student dropout. The general objective of this research was to propose pedagogical strategies based on the local culture to promote spaces for social reconstruction during the post-conflict process in 7th grade students. To this end, teachers, students and family members were asked about the tools of the local culture that would contribute to the design of a pedagogical proposal to strengthen relationships among students.
