He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education and Human Development, Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia. He holds a B.A (Hons), M.Ed (Educational Sociology) from the National University of Malaysia and Ph.D in Childhood and Primary Studies from the University of Strathclyde
