Throughout this book, I have been mentioned that anthropologists are virtually concerned with changes in cultures, social relations, social structures, social functions and social behaviors. This book describes changes in human societies, human relations, socio-cultural institutions, socio-cultural structures and functions. In the course of studying, Nepalese culture and society is an unique in nature, where though there are diversities of groups, cultures but the purposes of particular ethnic, caste or culture is to protect their population, religion, culture from extent influences, the rights of ethnic or caste groups, also protect their cultures from changes brought about by their members. Teej in Hindu society and culture is changing day by day. Generally, social, economic, political, and developmental and many other factors are acting for such changes in cultures in general and Teej in particular. Nepalese society especially Kathmandu and its adjacent rural as well as urban communities are in the situation of verge of collapse in traditional nature of cultural traits, customs, and characters because of global, local and national development.
