Natalya and Alex Kitain are first generation Americans who came to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. Their lives changed irrevocably when they discovered the underwater kingdom. Diving and underwater photography has brought true harmony and passion to their family. Together, they have visited some of the most unforgettable places. They have seen WWII wrecks, including historic Armored Gun Cruiser USS New York, and the final resting place of the Japanese fleet. They swam with sharks, dove into plankton, climbed volcanos, and much more. To them, diving is a true form of meditation. They have been stunned by the beauty of marine biodiversity and surprised at how alien and sentient marine life can be. They realize the fragility and the need for protection of marine ecosystems. In fact, divers are at the forefront of the battle to protect corals and marine sanctuaries. When divers arrive, dynamite and fishermen scraping the breeding grounds with their nets leave!
