This book is the result of studies by researchers from a wide range of backgrounds on the phenomenon of religion and its implications for human society. The aim of this book is to bring together academic texts from an interdisciplinary perspective on emerging issues in the study of religions. The themes are centred on three axes: the Pentecostal phenomenon; the relationship between religion and health; and the relationship between literature and religion. Scholars on the subject confirm that the influence of religion can be observed in all aspects of social life. It is on the basis of these observations that this work is established and consolidated as important and up-to-date.
