Autorenporträt
David Bateman is a professor in the department of Educational Leadership and Special Education at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. He has a B.A. in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, a M.Ed. in Special Education from the College of William and Mary, and a Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Kansas. He was a due process hearing officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is Public Policy Committee Chair for the Council of Exceptional Children′s Division for Learning Disabilities. He is the co-author of the Principal's Guide to Special Education and the Special Education Program Administrators Handbook . He is also the parent of a child who had a Section 504 Plan as a result of a head injury. Jenifer Cline has a M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from Washington State University. She practiced speech pathology in a variety of schools before becoming endorsed for special education administration. Jenifer has worked as a special education administrator for the last 11 years--both as a director of a special education cooperative and as a special education administrator at the district level. She is currently a special education administrator for Great Falls Public Schools in Great Falls, Montana. She has presented on administrative topics for ASHA, CASE, MCASE, AERA, and CEC. Jenifer is an active member of CASE and CEC and has served as the president of Montana CASE, as well as on the Professional Development Committee for CASE. Jenifer is the coauthor of A Teacher's Guide to Special Education for ASCD, Data, Making it Meaningful for NPR, Inc., and Effective and Efficient Management of Resources for the Council of Administrators of Special Education.
