This work is a collection of my work on customer orientation and the HR devices that can lead sales employees to adopt it. I do not pretend to have given an integrating model of all HR practices making customer orientation but at least raise awareness around the issue of the ability to satisfy customers. Furthermore, the theoretical and statistical confusion is cleared up on two concepts that are often confused: customer orientation and market orientation.
