Phelista Wangui Njeru is a Senior Lecturer at Mount Kenya University. She holds B.ED, MBA & PhD honors from KU & JKUAT in Business Management, Economics and Entrepreneurship. Her co-author, Dr Vincent Gaitho is the Vice Chairman at Mount Kenya University Council. He holds B.ED, MA & PhD Honors degrees in Tourism Geography- Community Ecotourism.
