Prof. em. Dr.-Ing. habil. Heinz Linke war Lehrstuhlinhaber am Institut für Maschinenelemente und Maschinenkonstruktion der TU Dresden und ist im Bereich Stirnradverzahnungen nach wie vor forschend und beratend tätig.

Dr.-Ing. Jörg Börner ist als Spezialist für Getriebeentwicklung und -berechnung bei der ZF Friedrichshafen AG tätig. In der Forschungsvereinigung Antriebstechnik e. V. ist er Mitglied der Arbeitsgruppe für Stirnradverzahnungen.
