Are you a woman who grew up without a father? Was your father in your life, but he was inconsistent or often missing in action? Do you think of your father every day, possibly more that his new wife, boo, girlfriend, side piece, or whatever they call them these days? Have you ever thought to yourself that you should be first in your father's life because you need him most? Do you find yourself longing for a relationship with your father even though you're a grown woman now, despite him never being there for you as a child? If so, this book is for you. Like many daughters in this situation, Carlisa Johnson experienced those same feelings of heartbreak, emptiness, fear, and countless unanswered questions due to her father's inconsistent presence in her life. "Daddy, I'm the Only Woman Who Thinks of You, Vol. 1" tells in-depth of the thoughts and events from Carlisa's transition from childhood to adulthood and takes you on an emotional journey into the experiences that shaped her character and her life. Grab your favorite blanket and a cup of coffee or even meet up with your favorite circle of friends, and get ready for Carlisa to pour out her heart to her readers and share her experiences of feeling emotionally disconnected and forgotten by her father, all while struggling to understand why she thinks of her father so much. Why is he constantly on her mind, more than any other person in the world? When she's lonely, when she's sad, when she's hurt, when she achieves something in life, and even when she looks at her own daughters, she thinks of him. Sadly, her father never took the time to even notice. There are so many women in this world living with the same struggles today, either openly or behind closed doors. For all the daughters, young or old, who feel worthless, hopeless, and powerless, prepare your heart and your mind for this captivating and transparent journey with Carlisa as she vows to break the curse of helplessness and give all daughters a voice. Get ready to enter the inner world of her "daddyless" thoughts and see how it leads to her motivation, healing, and determination. Stay tuned for Vol. 2 as Carlisa shares what her determination became...
