Christian Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina. She also has her Certified Addictions Counselor credential, which helps her support people in recovery from drug and alcohol use using evidence-based practices. Her niche is trauma. As an EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, Christian is trained to take a unique dive into processing the implications of traumatic experiences. As she honed her skills in various capacities and roles, Christian embarked on a journey that would allow her to address gaps in treatment and education regarding mental health for almost a decade. Christian is co-owner of YANA Counseling Services, where she facilitates therapy and trains upcoming licensed professional counselors. As co-founder of JP Training SC, she facilitates professional development for agencies across the State, consults, and is booked for motivational speeches for various organizations regarding the impact of mental health issues, if left untreated and how to address them.
