Do you feel like perhaps it's your mindset holding you back from reaching your health goals? Whether you're aware of it or not, your health plays a massive part in your life. In fact, it may very well be at the centre of it all. Working towards your goals, being a blessing to others, enjoying your hobbies and the things you do for fun, and simply being a productive member of society... none of it would be possible if you were unhealthy. But, what does being healthy really mean? Being healthy includes mental, emotional, social, and even spiritual wellbeing. All of these are interconnected, and being truly healthy entails understanding and tending to yourself holistically as well as physically. "Health is not just being disease-free. Health is when every cell in your body is bouncing with joy." - Isha Sadhguru My name is Kathy Shanks; I'm a businesswoman, mother and entrepreneur with a passion for self-development. Over the years, I've filled my mind with as much content as my brain could handle. I have used this knowledge, combined with my skills as a graphic designer, to share the guided journaling tools (in a cute and fun way) that have allowed me to live my best life on my terms. Inside you'll discover affirmations and daily actions to assist in developing, growing and nurturing your physical, emotional and mental health: * Affirmations for understanding, reflecting and improving a healthy mindset * Suggested tasks and actions for improving your mental, emotional and physical health * Additional 30 day self-love program The way in which you use this book is up to you. Keep it close by for a boost when you need a reminder of your self-talk, start the day by reading affirmations of health, randomly choose a page for divine guidance, choose a page and use it as inspiration for your daily journaling. However you use this book, balancing your healthy thoughts and habits is a skill to practice and constantly improve upon. Along with small-yet-impactful actions, an affirmation practice can be of great help when it comes to health and wellness. Not only does it channel healing energy and strength towards the areas in your life that need it the most, but because your mind, body, heart, and soul are all interconnected, it also empowers you to set positive change in motion across all aspects. Repeating thought patterns that reinforce certain behaviours and beliefs actually makes it easier for you to make healthier choices in your life. Combined with conscious, mindful (and fun!) health activities and exercises, repeating these powerful statements to yourself regularly creates new, healthy patterns-ones that allow you to nourish your mind, body, heart, and soul. Autorenporträt
Kathy Shanks is a businesswoman and entrepreneur, as well as a wife of 18 years and a mother of two. She has been self-employed for over twenty years and started three businesses from the ground up. She sold one during COVID's peak, and she is still managing the other two. Not only that, but Kathy is unbelievably passionate about the power of developing self-belief through journaling. She is a firm believer that anyone can do anything they set their mind to. For Kathy, there is no such thing as failure. You just keep on trying and trying until what? It gets done. Then, you set another goal. Life is a journey of constantly building goals. That applies to work life, personal life, and inner life.
