Athenia M. Davis Dodds is a minister at The Word Family Church under the leadership of Bishop Jacovis and Pastor Iretha Davis. She currently oversees the Intercession Ministry, and serves in the Women's and Children's Ministry. Mrs. Dodds teaches fifth-grade math, science, and social studies at Camden Fairview School District. She is a part of the Leadership Team, representing the fifth-grade math team, and serves as the mediator between the staff and the administration. She is currently teaching online due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and her students really miss being in class with her. She is married to Al, and they have two beautiful daughters, Alecia and Alexis, one handsome grandson, Jayceon Smith, and two fur babies, Snow White and Roxie. Athenia enjoys spending time with both her nuclear family and her church family and considers it a privilege to pray for the needs of others, and see those prayers come to fruition. She says, "I know that my mission is to edify, exhort, and comfort the Body of Christ. I have led Students-for-Christ for the past four years at Camden Fairview Intermediate School and have seen the lives of my students change for the better."
