Sue Wickstead, is a children's author who writes picture story books. Her stories are inspired by her work and adventures with a Playbus as well as her experiences as a primary school teacher. The Playbus was a double-decker bus full of toys, arts and crafts and was a lot of fun for children to play on. Sue initially wrote a photographic history book about the Playbus and following this publication and questions from children it led her to write the fictional tales.Sue loves to engage and inspire children with their reading and writing. She loves to promote reading for pleasure and develop a love of books, words and stories. Sue lives in West Sussex in the United Kingdom
