Peter Nyah ha insegnato per diversi anni "Cultura e civiltà africana" presso il Dipartimento di Lingue e Letterature straniere dell'Università di Port Harcourt, in Nigeria. Questo libro rivela uno degli aspetti folcloristici e culturali del suo ambiente natale, lo Stato di Akwa Ibom in Nigeria.
